Just a couple of cheats ...
To Use Cheats
While in the game whether in live, buy or build mode, press control, shift and the letter c on your keyboard all at the same time. You will see a grey box appear in the upper left hand corner. This is where you type the cheat you want to use.
Move Objects
To move or delete ANYTHING, use this cheat. However, do not, I repeat DO NOT delete your mailbox or your garbage can. If you do so, you will not be able to have guests anymore and the car pool will not be able to pick you up. Now, in the cheat box, type move_objects on and hit enter. Using the hand in buy or build mode, you can delete whatever you don't want including objects out of bounds on your lot, objects in use, pee puddles, dirty dishes, roaches and of course, those nasty flies!
The Infamous Money Cheat!
So you want to do it the easy way? Scoundral, get a job! Okay, the money cheat is as follows:
If you have the original version of the Sims 1.0 and did not get the upgrade patch to 1.01, the cheat code is klaupaucius. Typing that in will garner you 1000 Simoleans. To get more faster, after you've typed klapaucius, bring up the cheat box again and type !;!;!;!;!;!;! over and over until you get tired of it making sure to end with an exclamation point. Each ! will garner you 1000 Simoleans.
If you have the Sims 1.01 or Livin' Large or House Party, do the same as above but type the word Rosebud.
